This was our 3rd time staying at Island Sands. We have always found the apartment in immaculate condition. It is our first choice every year. We love the gulf view, beach, and its central location in IRB. Very convenient to shopping and excellent dining.

Once again it was an AMAZING stay. We have been coming to this condo for 8 years. We really LOVE everything about it! The easy and quick access to the beach, along with the convenience of several restaurants within walking distance keeps us coming back. The beach view from the condo is one of our favorite things about it. This year God painted some of the most BEAUTIFUL sunsets ,making the evenings even better. It was great when the condo you rent looks exactly like the pictures online. The condo at Islands Sands was very clean and perfect for me, my wife and two kids. From the kitchen to the bedrooms, it was as advertised. Sue is the BEST person I've ever worked with in renting a condo, in my 25 years of renting beach properties. She responded to my questions prior to and during our stay in a very timely fashion and provided additional information about the area and tips for our stay. She will be my first stop for future vacations to the area.

This was our second stay in this property. Fabulous location, extremely clean, easy to work with the property managers. Easy to walk to several restaurants! The ocean is literally at the condo’s patio doors. We love it here!

That simply tells me that the occupants wanted to spend time in a beautiful area just like I did. If I had been up one level, someone would have heard my footsteps. Rooms well appointed and many accessories and amenities. The location on beach was great. BBQ grill was being worked on to replace burners the last few days which wasn’t convenient but understandable. The pool was smaller than expected. Overall...a lovely stay with you. Thanks.

Great place to stay, beautiful beach with clear, clean water & lovely pool with lots of deck space! Our condo was exceptionally clean & well-stocked for our needs, the beds very comfortable & the location was just what we wanted for a beach getaway. Being on the lower level, we did experience a lot of overhead noise at night, but that was the only negative. I can't imagine a better place to stay!

We booked this condo based on the view and located right on the gulf. Our original reservation was around the time everything was shutting down due to the pandemic (April-2020). We had to cancel and unfortunately couldn’t get a refund. We were given a credit though and a lengthy time to use it, so that was good. Unfortunately, what I didn’t realize is we now had to book our vacation when the unit was available rather than when it was most convenient for us. But we made it work and the gulf-front view did not disappoint! We loved the location because you could walk to so many places.
I would recommend replacing those beds in second bedroom. Not comfortable at all. Everything else in the condo was great - clean, comfortable, and everything we needed was there.

We always love staying at Island Sands 202 and this time did not disappoint! The view from the balcony and the proximity to the beach is the big draw! We also love how close all the restaurants are to the condo, no need to drive anywhere.

We haven’t been in this unit since 2019, but the beds have definitely changed. The twin beds were uncomfortable for children and my husband complained that the king bed wasn’t as comfortable as he remembered. We wondered if all the mattresses had been changed?

There were some minor broken things but we reported them and maintenance came and fixed them Monday morning. The pool umbrella is broken and remained broken all week but we forgot to ask about it when maintenance was here.

In the past the pool was cleaned a few times a week in the mornings but this time we saw someone come late in the day one time and clean around people who didn’t get out of the pool. We would have liked for it to be deep cleaned more often because two units had very large groups of visitors that all used the pool and it was so cloudy that my kids didn’t want to use it the last few days.

We will continue coming back to this condo because we love it so much and my kids say it feels like home. However, it does need some sprucing up like paint on walls and doors. The new living room furniture and dining room table is beautiful! We loved everything available in the kitchen for use and it’s so nice to have a washer and dryer that is quick and efficient. Thank you for another memorable week! We always love it here and we will be back!

Everything was perfect! The condo was super clean and decorated so cute. It had everything we needed and more. This was our first visit to Indian Rocks and we cannot wait to come back for another visit. Some of the things we liked most were the view of the ocean from the balcony, the quaintness of the complex, the beautiful beach and the close proximity to restaurants!! Island Sands was the perfect home away from home!!!

Location is great. Right on beach and walking distance to many restaurants. We have stayed here now 6 times and just love it. Condo is well kept and very nice.

The condo was great with an amazing view of the ocean. The location was perfectly between clearwater and St Pete. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our Family loves INDIAN Rocks Beach! And this condo is centrally located near Crabby Bills, PJ, ice cream shops and CVS. Condo is on second floor, no elevators, but was not a problem for our family. Good space for 4. We arrived and had air condition issues but Sue with Long Key Rentals was amazing to work with, and took care of getting everything back in order. The only negative I can say for this condo is when it rains, water will collect on balcony. Otherwise this place is awesome. We will book this condo again!!

This review is long overdue. We stayed at Island Sands for a week over spring break with 2 kids ages 4 and 6. The unit was spotless, well taken care of and had absolutely everything we needed. The view when you first walk in is breathtaking. You literally feel the stress from everyday life just lift from shoulders. This unit directly faces the beach. You go down one flight of stairs and you're at the pool (which was perfect for our kids). There's a grill on the patio by the pool too. The kitchen was fantastic. Nothing like preparing dinner or breakfast while you look out onto the ocean. There are also TVs in each bedroom connected to Wifi so when the kids need to relax after a full day they can easily do it. No complaints whatsoever about the unit or building. In fact, I'd just like to buy it as is. Sue, the manager, was super responsive to anything we needed and was a delight to work with.

Locally Crabby Bills, an amazing Mexican restaurant and ice cream are literally right across the street and there's a CVS with everything you might need like 2 blocks away. Parking was easy and convenient just being on the first floor.
We go to Indian Rocks every year and Island Sands 202 will be our #1 choice from now on. Book it while you can.

We love Island Sands 202 and continue to return year after year. I hate to give it a good review because I don't want it to get too popular there and to lose "our" week, as we continue to roll our deposit over year after year. Upon entering my husband always says "it's like coming home." We will be back!

We enjoyed a wonderful ten day stay at your condo. It started when we opened the door and looked down the hall. The condo was beautifully decorated, well stocked, very clean, and the view was to die for. The advertising was understated, as the experience far exceeded the write up. Positives-Clean, comfortable condo with a great view. Kitchen comes complete with all utensils you'll need. Bed was super comfortable. Love the washer/dryer combo inside the apt. Negatives? - just slightly - it's on the 2nd floor so some noise will be heard from the 3rd floor renters. Sheer west side curtains will cause a major glare problem, especially if you decide to watch the evening news, etc., in the evening. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & these were only minor inconveniences.

From the minute we arrived we knew our week was going to exceed our expectations. We loved every aspect of the condo. It was easy to go to and from the beach. The beach was so relaxing and never crowded . We enjoyed being able to have access to beach chairs and an umbrella each day. The storage in front of our own covered parking space made it easy to store these each day along with some of our personal beach items. The views from our condo were amazing and the sunsets were breathtaking. Easy walk to many good restaurants and a CVS. We enjoyed every minute! We already have plans to return. We had the best week ever at this beautiful condo! So close to great restaurants, awesome activities, and most importantly on a gorgeous beach that wasnt too congested with people and tourist traps! The condo had everything we could possible need and then some, it was exactly as described, and so clean. The Long Key Vacation Rental team was so helpful and accommodating too. The sunsets were incredible, and we cant wait to come back next year!!

Our unit was clean and lovely. We so appreciated the quality cookware and fully stocked kitchen. The overall atmosphere is clean and pretty and fresh, unlike other places I have stayed. The new chairs on the patio are wonderful! This location is so combiner with so many restaurants within walking distance. We loved every minute!

We love it there! It's a perfect location, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, great sandy beach to walk during sunrise and sunset, and the view is gorgeous. You can sit on the balcony and watch dolphins swim/leap by or enjoy a cocktail during sunset. We wished we could have stayed longer!

We walked into the unit and were immediately thrilled with the view. The space in the kitchen was great and the room space worked for us. The proximity to restaurants and beach front walking was fabulous. Susan did a great job of communicating during the reservation process and during our stay. She also followed up on providing us with rental options for the following year. The heated pool and grill area was always maintained, clean and functional. The only complaint we have is with the cleanliness of the unit which was Poor. I spent the first day cleaning silverware, dishes and cabinets. The floor edges were visibly dirty and sticky. The couch was very worn with missing buttons in the back. Deck furniture was essentially worn out with stained cushions and rusted legs that were broken. Several kitchen utensills are beyond worn.
The linens on our bed were bleached and discolored. The towels were gray and dingy. The shower head needed to be replaced because of build up, there was no pressure. The shower door in the guest bath was rusted and unsightly. There was a partially repaired hole in the master shower. It would take so little to make this a fabulous unit, but it NEEDS some serious TLC. I did not appreciate spending my first full day cleaning the unit. We tried to use the vaccum, but it did not work, so I washed all the floors on my hands and knees. Love the location, size of unit, view, pool, disappointed in the cleanliness.

The unit itself was comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We found all of the beds comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

The beach view was awesome! We saw dolphins on several mornings right from the balcony. Our family enjoyed plenty of time at the ocean as it was a quick walk down to the beach. We felt lucky because the beach access for island sands seemed more private then other areas as you looked up and down the beach. The beach itself was very nice and the ocean was super clear. Our girls had quite the collection of shells to choose from!

The location is also wonderful! It is right off of Hwy. 688, so it is a direct route into Tampa attractions, It is also less than 15 minutes from Clearwater and John's Pass village.

Island Sands was a great end of summer vacation for our family. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Our family stayed for the month of June,2016. Had a great time. The place was as advertised. The unit was clean and up to date. The grounds, including the pool were well kept. Had a mechanical problem with the air conditioner which was quickly attended to.
