Smuggler's Cove Adventure Golf- Indian Shores: 19463 Gulf Blvd, Indian Shores Madeira: 1816, 15395 Gulf Blvd, Madeira Beach, Fun pirate themed golf. There’re even live alligators you can feed!

Adventure Island Tampa- 10001 McKinley Dr, Tampa, a huge water park featuring water rides for those of all ages, a wave pool, and a lazy river to relax in!

Splash Harbour Water Park- 399 2nd St, Indian Rocks Beach, Water park with a variety of slides, kid’s splash zone, lazy river, a tiki bar, and plenty of casual dining.

Clearwater Beach City Pool- 51 Bay Esplanade, Clearwater beach, public swimming pool with a few slides and kid splash area.

Busch Gardens Tampa- 10165 McKinley Dr, Tampa, a 335-acre African themed animal theme park with plenty of roller coasters, activities, and fun for those of all ages!

Apollo Beach Manatee Viewing Center- 6990 Dickman Rd, Apollo Beach. A protected marine reserve with a 50-ft. observation tower, trails, a boardwalk & butterfly gardens. Another one of our favorites!

Fort De Soto- 3500 Pinellas Bayway S, St. Petersburg, a historical fort, campground, dog beach and playground, and beach/ park area. Lot’s of cool history to explore and enjoy! One of our favorite spots!!

 

Places to Stroll

John’s Pass- 12901 Gulf Blvd, Madeira Beach. Quaint, historic fishing village with shops, bars, restaurants & watersports outfitters.

Downtown Clearwater- Pierce Street, Cleveland Street Clearwater. Under the bridge is gorgeous, and you’ll love seeing all of the historic buildings and checking out the cute boutiques!

Downtown St. Petersburg- Central Ave, and Beach Drive, St. Petersburg. The new trendy place to hang out. So much unique restaurants, amazing art and murals, and beautiful views of the water. A really cool atmosphere.

Downtown Safety Harbor- A quaint little town on the bay, with wine bars and delicious little classic restaurants, plus a marina and pier. Houses the famous Safety Harbor Spa since the early 1900s.

Downtown Dunedin- Town of the breweries! There are so many local breweries and restaurants here, and you’ll love to walk down Main St. to the marina! Check the restaurant section of this book, there are so many good eats over there.

River Walk Tampa- There is no exact address for Riverwalk, but there is available parking all around the Tampa convention center, and also the Poe Garage. Enjoy the sights along the river in downtown Tampa. There’s dining, shopping, museums, waterfront parks, and even the aquarium is nearby! We love this trendy area and the walk along the river!

 Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve-  901 Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach. Scenic nature preserves offering a boardwalk through a lush mangrove that leads to the beach & ocean.

Coachman Park- 301 Drew St, Clearwater. Located in the heart of downtown Clearwater, it’s a shorefront park with paved walkways and docks. They host a variety of concerts, festivals & exhibitions all year.

Courtney Campbell Causeway Walking Bridge- 7700 W Courtney Campbell Cswy, Tampa. A biking and pedestrian bridge running parallel to the causeway you probably took to get here… 360 degrees of beautiful water views and awesome to check out for the sunset!

Walsingham Park- 12615 102nd Ave, Seminole. Featuring 5 habitat areas, such as a reservoir & botanic garden, this park offers fishing, and lots of hiking/ biking trails.

Weeki Wachee Springs State Park- 6131 Commercial Way, Spring Hill. A gorgeous natural spring that includes a waterpark, swimming area, kayaking, tubing, mermaid shows, boat tours, wildlife, and history you’ll actually be interested in!

Philippe Park- 2525 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor. A beautiful park on the bay with boat ramps, historic sights, walking and bike trails, and even a small beach area.

Tiki Gardens - Indian Shores Beach Access-  19601 Gulf Blvd, Indian Shores. A cute little park with history, and cool Tiki Statues! Also- public beach parking here.

Lake Seminole Park- 10015 Park Blvd N, Seminole. Sanctuary for alligators & other wildlife with multi-use trails, water sports & picnic shelters.

Vinoy Park-  701 Bayshore Dr NE, St. Petersburg.  an 11.6-acre park located on the downtown waterfront of St. Petersburg. Steps from downtown, it's a great place to bike, hammock, and see plenty of dolphins.

The Florida Aquarium- 701 Channelside Dr. Tampa. Rated top 10 in the entire nation on TripAdvisor, there’s so much to see and do here for those of all ages.

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium- 249 Windward Passage, Clearwater. Home of Winter the Dolphin from Dolphin Tales the movie. Lots of cool marine life and exhibits

MOSI- Museum of Science and Industry- 4801 E Fowler Ave, Tampa. Interactive exhibits for children of all ages. A great time while still educational.

Glazer Children’s Museum- 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa. Lots of interactive activities and exhibits that focus on weather, art, communications and so much more. Children 12 and under!

AirHeads Trampoline Arena (two locations, Clearwater & Tampa)- a fun trampoline arena with lots of activities, and even a Ninja Warrior training course! Fun for all ages.

Jump Station Florida- 12640 62nd St Ste 100, Largo. Inflatables and fun for kids of all ages. Suitable for ages 1-12.

Treasure Island Fun Center- 7770 Seminole Blvd, Seminole. Tons of arcade games, pizza, and fun for your kids!

Tap and Token Arcade & Grille- 752 S Gulfview Blvd, Clearwater beach. One of the only arcades on the beaches! 30+ arcade games, along with a full bar and restaurant. Giant jenga, ping pong, and other fun for adults too!

The Dali Museum- One Dali Blvd., St. Petersburg, The museum holds the largest collection of art by Spanish surrealist Salvador Dalí outside of Spain. View some of Dali’s most famous oil paintings, drawings, sculptures, and photos all in one breathtaking location.

Imagine Museum- 1901 Central Ave St. Petersburg. Museum and cute little gift shop for all your artistic needs. Beautiful glasswork and so much more.

Tampa Bay Grand Prix- 12350 Automobile Blvd, Clearwater. A sprawling facility where adults & kids race electric go-karts up to 50 mph on an indoor track.

Tampa Bay Escape Room- 625 Cleveland St, Clearwater, a fun new entertainment concept and a real-life adventure game. 2-8 people in each puzzle to try and solve the puzzle and unlock the room!

Vertical Ventures- 116 18th St S, St. Petersburg. (There’s also a location in Tampa) A huge 20,000 sq. ft facility with 40-foot-tall rock-climbing walls, and plenty of climbing lines. Whether you’re an amateur climber or a seasoned pro, this is the place to check out!

AirHeads Trampoline Arena (two locations, Clearwater & Tampa)- a fun trampoline arena with lots of activities, and even a Ninja Warrior training course! Fun for all ages.

Sky Zone- 13000 66th St. N, Largo. Another really awesome trampoline arena with activities for kids and adults of all ages!

Top Golf Brandon- 10690 Palm River Rd, Tampa. Sprawling entertainment venue with a high-tech driving range & swanky lounge with drinks & games.
